Annual Fund 2026-27

The image above shows our current progress as of 10/15/2026.

This year’s Annual Fund Campaign invests in curriculum across every grade level, directly advancing the District’s strategic priority of Challenging & Engaging Learning.

Your donations will support:

  • Science, Tested in Real Classrooms
    K-6 Science Pilot
Before the District finalizes what every elementary student learns in science, Shorewood teachers put it to work. Your gift funds a full classroom pilot — the Einstein Project in K-5, Amplify Science in grade 6 — so the decision is made on evidence from our own classrooms, not a publisher’s promise.
  • World Languages for Seven Grades
    Wayfinder World Language Licenses, 7-12
Licenses that carry World Language students from seventh grade through senior year with one consistent set of tools — not a different platform in every classroom.
  • Books Worth the Discussion
High School English Texts & Resources
New texts and instructional materials for every SHS English classroom. Students read work that earns a real conversation, and teachers build rigorous courses using current books instead of aging ones.
  • Time to Build Curriculum Right
    Summer Curriculum Development Stipends
Paid summer hours for teachers to design and revise curriculum together: advanced learning, specially designed instruction for students with disabilities, project-based and interdisciplinary work. Staff name this among the most valuable opportunities the District offers.
