Every spring, the Shorewood SEED Foundation gathers the community for an evening that is equal parts celebration and impact. The Swing with Shorewood Gala & Auction, taking place Saturday, March 14, 2026, at St. Kate – The Arts Hotel, is our signature fundraising event, and one of the most important ways we support Shorewood Public Schools.
Over the past 22 years, SEED has raised more than $5 million to fund grants, programs, and resources that inspire creativity, learning, and opportunity for Shorewood students. The gala plays a significant role in making that impact possible.
At the same time, we know one size does not fit all. Whether you’re joining us in person or supporting us from afar, there are many meaningful ways to be part of Swing with Shorewood.
What Guests Can Enjoy at the Gala
Swing with Shorewood is designed to be a memorable night out, while also being a fundraiser that directly benefits our schools. A $175 ticket includes the full gala experience: entrance, dinner, table wine, live entertainment, an engaging program, and the chance to participate in several exclusive fundraising opportunities available only to guests in the room.
This year’s program will be led by a dynamic and engaging emcee, Tanya Atkinson, former comedian and current CEO of Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin, who will bring humor, heart, and insight to the evening.
After dinner, guests will hit the dance floor to live music performed by Shorewood parents Mike Servais and James Norris, adding a uniquely local and community-driven touch to the celebration.
Tickets are limited, so if you plan to go, get your tickets or table reserved today: Gala Tickets

The Golden Ticket
One of the most exciting opportunities of the night, the Golden Ticket, is available only to gala guests. Just 100 tickets are sold at $50 each. One winning ticket is drawn, and the winner gets to choose any live auction package with values typically ranging from $1,500 to $6,000.
Past packages have included unforgettable experiences like Door County getaways, Brewers suite experiences for 20 guests, and private retreat stays. This year’s offerings promise to be just as exciting!
Live Auction
The live auction is another highlight of the evening and is exclusive to those attending in person. These curated experiences and high-value items create excitement in the room while raising critical funds for SEED.
Raffle Prizes
Gala guests can also purchase raffle (fishbowl) tickets for a chance to win incredible prizes donated by generous local businesses and supporters. It’s an easy and fun way to participate, no bidding required. Tickets start at just $5.
Wine Pull
A fan favorite year after year, the wine pull features around 100 bottles of wine, each valued at $30 or more, with some bottles worth over $100. For $35 per ticket, guests select a mystery bottle to take home, often discovering a great deal in the process.
Can’t Attend? You Can Still Make an Impact
We understand that attending the gala isn’t possible, or appealing, for everyone. Swing with Shorewood is first and foremost a fundraiser, and inclusivity matters to us. There are several ways to support Shorewood students without being in the room on March 14.
Southwest Airlines Ticket Raffle
Open to everyone, the Southwest Airlines Ticket Raffle runs now through March 14th, with one lucky winner receiving $1500 to Southwest Airlines. The winner will be drawn at the gala, but does not need to be present to win. A ticket starts at $5 for one, but the more you purchase the better the deal. Get your tickets here.
Online Auction
Our online auction opens March 6 and runs through March 14, allowing anyone to bid on great items and experiences from anywhere. This is a popular option for families and supporters who want to contribute on their own schedule.
Purchase an Ad, be a Sponsor, or Donate an Auction Item
It’s not too late to support by purchasing an ad, donating to the wine pull, or donating an item or experience:
- Purchase an ad that will be displayed during the gala program. Ads are due by February 23rd: Purchase an Ad
- Donate an item or experience to the online auction. Items must be received by February 27th. Donation Form
- Donate to the beloved wine pull. We ask that the retail value of the wine be $30 or more. Please fill out this form and designate how you’d like your wine collected: Donate Wine
These options provide visibility for businesses and individuals while directly supporting SEED grants in our schools. All donors will be listed in the program and/or on signage at the gala.

A Celebration, and a Fundraiser, for Our Schools
Swing with Shorewood is a joyful night filled with music, art, and community, but its purpose is clear: to raise funds that enhance educational opportunities for every student in Shorewood Public Schools.
Whether you join us at St. Kate, bid online, enter a raffle, or support in another way, your participation helps ensure teachers and students have access to the resources they need to thrive.
Thank you for being part of the SEED community, and for supporting Shorewood schools, in the way that works best for you.
